The Bath Township Road Department maintains ten cemeteries. Ward, Lewis Grove and Bluelick are the only cemeteries available for burials. Grave plots for purchase are available at the Bath Township Administrative offices located at 2880 Ada Road.

Cemetery Information and History

Berry Hill Cemetery – Created in approximately 1835 near the first settlement in Allen County on the banks of Sugar Creek. Entrance to this cemetery requires permission from Bath Township.

Bluelick Cemetery – 2760 E. Bluelick Rd. | Lima, Ohio 45801

Lewis Grove Cemetery – Thayer Rd. | Lima, OH 45807

Sproat Cemetery – Wolfe Rd. | Lima, OH 45807

Tony’s Nose Cemetery – Established on March 25, 1871, by the Trustees of Bath Township, from Aaron and Eleanor Osmen. Tony’s Nose Cemetery is 2 ½ miles east of Lima on Reservoir Road between Roush and Fetter Roads. Revolutionary soldier Sergeant William Chenoweth was laid to rest in this cemetery.
